　　篇一：　别忘了come to有“终于、逐渐、开始”的意思!

　　1、原译没有把英语习语come to译出来，而这个习语在这里有“终于、逐渐、开始”的意思。《英语习语大词典》列出的come to的第十个义项是“终于;逐渐;开始”，并举例如下：

　　1、(all)hell breaks (或is broken, 或is let)loose意为“大乱起来，闹翻天”。

　　2、 repossessions译“重新占有”不明确，应改为“恢复产权”。

　　3、comes the hours, comes the woman，还有另一种说法，comes the hour,comes the man,意思都一样，在这里可译为“来的`正是时候”。

　　comes the hours, comes the woman译为“来的正是时候”意思或许没错，但却感觉少了原文那种俏皮的味道。不知是否可以译为“这可真是及时雨”或“来得好不如来得巧”?

　　1、 bottom是“基础”的意思，from the bottom up就是“从基础抓起”，故把“从细微末节做起”改为“从基础抓起”。

　　2、 insight是“洞察力”的意思，译为“自我省悟”就不对了，美国有家杂志Insight，中文则译成《洞察》。

　　这句话的意思从英文能看得懂，但是上面的两种翻译却都看不明白。或许还有上文吧，否则怎么都难看出idea指的是反社会行为，但这里是不是就直接用‘想法’而不是那么复杂的一个名词比较好呢?
